Building Trust Together: Collective Healing through JoyfulTalisman Values, a book to promote trust building and trust repair
New Delhi : In an age marked by fractured relationships, institutional mistrust, and a deep erosion of shared values, Building Trust Together: Collective Healing through JoyfulTalisman Values offers a timely and courageous response to one of humanity’s most pressing challenges: the crisis of trust. At a function in the ongoing World Book Fair in New Delhi, the book was released on January 11, 2026.
Vedabhyas Kundu and Munazah Shah have authored the book. Several writers and practitioners took part in the release function. Naamak Publications has published the book.
Drawing from reflective dialogue, lived experience, and ethical inquiry, the authors reframes trust not as a managerial tool or psychological construct, but as a moral relationship rooted in conscience, integrity, and shared responsibility. Moving seamlessly from self-trust to relational trust and finally to social and global trust, the authors illuminate how trust is built, broken, and—most importantly—repaired.
At the heart of the book lies the JoyfulTalisman Trust Repair Model, a humane and value-based framework that transforms trust ruptures into opportunities for ethical growth, relational healing, and institutional renewal. Integrating inner reflection, nonviolent communication, accountability, and sustained action, the model speaks to families, workplaces, communities, and global institutions alike.
Senior social activist, Dr Pawan Goel, who has been working in the area of Waste to Art, underlined how important it is today to promote trust at all levels of our lives- whether in homes, workplaces, and the society. He observed that efforts needs to be made right from the individual level on how to value trust as an important glue of a cohesive home and a cohesive society.
Senior journalist and theatre producer, Mr Rizwan Raza talked about trust has to start from the micro level. Mr Praveen Panjiar, who heads an IT company, felt trust was a crucial pillar of a harmonious workplace environment. Dr Pankaj Choubey, author felt the book is an invitation to leaders, educators, practitioners, and concerned citizens to move beyond blame and polarization toward collective healing grounded in values.
Written in a contemplative conversational style, this book is both reflective and practical. In a fragmented world, Building Trust Together reminds us of a profound truth: Trust is not the absence of rupture, but the presence of repair guided by conscience.
