Two-Day National Soldiers’ Conclave Concludes in Delhi, Emphasizes National Unity

New Delhi : A two-day National Soldiers’ Conclave was organized at the Soldiers Service Rest House, Naraina, New Delhi, under the joint aegis of Navchetna Foundation and Bharat Bharti Sainik Prakoshth. The event was part of a nationwide series of programs being conducted across 150 cities in 24 states to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and the singing of Vande Mataram. Mr. Sushil Kumar Singh of Ranchi conducted the proceedings and introduced the distinguished guests, Veer Naris (war widows), and former servicemen. Organizers Mr. Yugbalk Sharma, Mr. Irfan Ahmad, and Mr. Vinod Tripathi welcomed and felicitated the guests and ex-servicemen with bouquets and floral 
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Mr. Sudarshan Kumar emphasized the importance of preserving national unity despite India’s linguistic, cultural, religious, and social diversity. Recalling the invaluable contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel towards national integration, he stated that Patel’s ideals continue to inspire the nation to remain united. Referring to the sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, he said that his martyrdom for the protection of national unity, integrity, and human values would forever remain a source of inspiration.
Former serviceman Major Sanjay Mehrotra stated that Indian soldiers would never accept any compromise on the sovereignty, unity, and integrity of the nation. He noted that the brave soldiers of India have always placed national interest above all else and have made the supreme sacrifice whenever required.
Bharat Bharti National Secretary Mr. Rudranarayan Tiwari highlighted the organization’s journey since its inception and described the discipline, patriotism, and spirit of service displayed by soldiers as a source of inspiration for society. He stressed the need to motivate young people to contribute actively to nation-building and consider joining the armed forces.

Mr. Irfan Ahmad, In-Charge of Bharat Bharti’s Northern Region, said that the organization is working to strengthen national unity and the vision of a developed India by reaching every district of the country. He added that amidst growing global unrest, India has the potential to guide the world through the values of peace, coexistence, and humanity. Delhi State Secretary Mr. Vinod Kumar Tripathi spoke about Sardar Patel’s simplicity, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to the nation and urged the younger generation to follow his ideals.
The conclave was attended by several distinguished personalities, including North India Organization Minister Vivekanand Dixit, Apoorv Pandey, Ishwar Jha, Rajendra Singh, Jayanarayan Singh, Ashok Bachhawandiya, Hemlata Rathore, Varita Naithani, along with many former servicemen, social workers, and intellectuals.
Patriotic cultural performances presented by the children of former servicemen captivated the audience and added vibrancy to the event.
The two-day National Soldiers’ Conclave concluded with the National Anthem and resonant chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”
