Salam Kisan Launches India’s Largest Agri-Drone Franchise, Plans Expansion in 100+ Districts as the company takes a major step toward Modernising India’s agriculture sector through advanced technology. Salam Kisan, the precision agriculture platform of PRYM Group, has introduced a nationwide Agri-drone business franchise model to create district-level Agri-tech infrastructure across the country. The announcement was made during the Franchise India 2026 exhibition in New Delhi.
The company plans to establish more than 100 Agri-drone service hubs in the first phase, giving entrepreneurs and young professionals in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities an opportunity to build agriculture-tech businesses in their districts. Through these service Centres , farmers will gain access to modern services such as drone-based pesticide and Fertiliser spraying, crop monitoring, pest and disease detection, farm mapping, and AI-powered farming solutions.
Agriculture contributes nearly 16 percent to India’s economy and supports more than 40 percent of the country’s workforce. Salam Kisan believes technology-based farming solutions can help farmers increase productivity, reduce cultivation costs, and improve rural incomes.

Dhanashree Mandhani, Founder and CEO of Salam Kisan, said India is entering a new phase where agriculture will increasingly depend on artificial intelligence, drone intelligence, predictive analytics, and real-time farm data.

She said, “The future of farming will not depend only on tractors and Labour. AI-powered precision systems, drone technology, predictive crop analytics, and smart farming solutions will define the next generation of agriculture. At Salam Kisan, our aim is to improve productivity, reduce wastage, Optimise pesticide usage, and make Indian farming globally competitive.”
The franchise-led model builds on Salam Kisan’s successful work in Maharashtra through its Mahashakti and Sarathi programmes. The company has already connected with more than 5 lakh farmers, serviced over 2.5 lakh acres of agricultural land, and built a network of over 200 trained drone entrepreneurs operating in farming regions.
To encourage business participation, Salam Kisan has introduced franchise categories ranging from BASE (2 drones) to PLATINUM (20 drones). The investment plans range from approximately ₹22 lakh to ₹1 crore. Each package includes DGCA-certified PRYM Aerospace drones, deployment vehicles, agricultural machinery units, pilot training, technical assistance, and access to Salam Kisan’s integrated Agri-tech platform.
Dhanashree Mandhani further added, “With drone technology, automation, and AI-led farm management, India has the opportunity to significantly improve agricultural productivity, strengthen farmers’ income, and boost the country’s economic growth. The more modern our villages and farming become, the faster India will progress.”
Salam Kisan is also working in collaboration with the Government of Maharashtra and has technology support from Microsoft. The company has developed an integrated platform that includes drone manufacturing, pilot training, field operations, and precision agriculture services.
Additionally, Salam Kisan’s Sarathi programme is training rural youth to become licensed drone entrepreneurs, creating new employment and business opportunities in India’s agriculture sector.
Industry experts believe this initiative could become a game changer for India’s farming ecosystem by bringing advanced technology directly to villages, increasing efficiency, and creating sustainable income opportunities for farmers and entrepreneurs alike.
