Thank you for the kind invitation to witness this wonderful production of Pagla Ghoda. It was truly an enriching theatrical experience.
The timeless writing of Badal Sarkar came alive beautifully under the guidance of Dinesh Yadav and the ensemble direction of Sahil Khan. The entire team succeeded in capturing the depth, intensity, and layered emotions of the play with honesty and brilliance.
At the beginning, the play took a little time to pick up its rhythm, but gradually it unfolded with such impact that the entire auditorium of nearly 200 people was completely absorbed till the very end. Each artist performed with such dedication that the audience found themselves deeply immersed in the story.
Cast Performances:
Saquib Siddiqui (Kartik) – delivered a restrained yet powerful performance.
Shiva Ankit (Satu) – brought intensity and sharp presence to the stage.
Ayushi Rathod (Mili / Laxmi / Girl / Malti / Spirit) – seamlessly transitioned between multiple characters, adding great depth and versatility.
Arpit Anand (Shashi) – embodied his role with sincerity and emotional strength.
Ankit Singh (Himadri) – gave a compelling performance, leaving a lasting impression.
Creative & Technical Excellence:
Set Design by Dinesh Yadav created the right atmosphere for the narrative, minimal yet evocative.
Lighting Design by Rahul Chohan elevated the mood and transitions, guiding the audience’s emotions throughout the play. The synergy between cast and crew was admirable. The staging, coordination, and artistic vision reflected the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.
Heartfelt congratulations to the whole team for putting up such a memorable and thought-provoking performance. Productions like this remind us of the power of theatre to connect, question, and heal. I would highly recommend everyone to witness Pagla Ghoda at least once.
