New Delhi :  A grand “Qutub-ul-Aqtab Conference” was organized on Sunday at the historic Noori Masjid and Khanqah Qadiriya, Mehrauli Sharif, Delhi. The occasion marked the celebration of the 1500th Eid Milad-un-Nabi and the 814th Urs of the great Sufi saint Hazrat Khwaja Qutubuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki, observed with deep devotion and spiritual fervor. The event, hosted by the Qutub Educational and Welfare Foundation, showcased a unique confluence of spirituality and devotion.

The conference was presided over by Maulana Alauddin Naqshbandi, Khatib and Imam of Noori Masjid, Mehrauli Sharif. The proceedings were skillfully conducted by Maulana Muhammad Bakhtiyar Hussain Alimi of Khanqah Qadiriya.

Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Syed Shameemuddin Munami (Khanqah Maton Ghat, Patna), in his inspiring speech, emphasized that true success in life lies in adopting and living by the teachings of the Prophet of Islam, Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him). From Jaipur, Rajasthan, Hazrat Maulana Syed Muhammad Qadri (Sunni Dawat-e-Islami) shed light on the greatness of the noble Companions (Sahaba-e-Kiram), stressing that respecting and following their teachings is essential for every Muslim.

Renowned Delhi poet Farhan Barqati created a soulful atmosphere with his recitation of Naat and Manqabat. Qari Khursheed Alam Jayasi conducted part of the proceedings, while Maulana Numan Ishqi Rumi imparted guidance on various forms of Zikr and Wazaif, granting permissions for their practice.

At the conclusion of the event, on behalf of Shaikh-ul-Islam Syed Muhammad Madni Miyan Ashrafi al-Jilani, Maulana Alauddin Naqshbandi was honored with the Sanad-e-Khilafat (Certificate of Spiritual Succession). The honor was presented in the presence of Maulana Inquilab Ashrafi Nanparvi (Sajjada Nashin, Astana-e-Alia Syed Amir Ali Madni) and other distinguished scholars.

The conference was attended by a large number of scholars and devotees, including Maulana Meraj-ul-Hasan Jayasi, Maulana Abdus Subhan Naimi, Maulana Tasleem Khalidi, Maulana Ashfaq Qadri, Maulana Hashmat Ali Naimi, Maulana Abdul Qayyum Nizami, Maulana Mujeebul Hasan Barqati, Qari Ishtiyaq, Maulana Muhammad Hasan, Qari Intizar, Maulana Ilyas, and Maulana Mukhtar.

The tireless efforts of Hazrat Maulana Maqsood and the contributions of the organizing committee members — Muhammad Shameem Saifi, Shabbir Ahmad, Muhammad Ishtiyaq, and others — were warmly acknowledged. The president expressed gratitude to all guests and attendees.

This event not only stood as a center of spiritual inspiration, but also strongly conveyed the message of social unity and universal love.
