Delivering one of the most compelling addresses at the 4th World Gas Summit 2026, Dr. Rajeev Mishra, Chairman of the IFEVA Green Energy Foundation, presented a bold and transformative roadmap for India’s clean energy future, urging governments, industry leaders, innovators, and investors to unite in building an integrated energy ecosystem powered by natural gas, green hydrogen, renewable energy, electric mobility, and advanced technologies.
Addressing an international gathering of policymakers, energy experts, corporate leaders, and technology pioneers, Dr. Mishra emphasized that India is entering a defining decade in which clean energy infrastructure will become the cornerstone of economic growth, industrial competitiveness, energy security, and environmental sustainability.
The prestigious 4th World Gas Summit 2026 was held alongside the 4th Gas India Expo 2026 from 23–25 July 2026 at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, bringing together more than 100 exhibitors and over 5,000 industry delegates, decision-makers, and business leaders representing India’s rapidly evolving gas and clean energy sectors.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Praveer Kumar Agrawal, Chairman, Central U.P. Gas Limited and Executive Director, GAIL (India) Limited, in the presence of distinguished dignitaries including Dr. Swadesh Kumar, CEO, Indian Exhibition Services (IES); Mr. N. K. Sehgal, Senior Advisor; Dr. Rajeev Mishra, Chairman, IFEVA Green Energy Foundation; Mr. Sudhanshu Chandra, Chairman, Power 100; and several eminent national and international experts.
One of the flagship sessions of the Expo was the 4th World Gas Summit 2026, organized by Indian Exhibition Services (IES) in association with the International Confederation of Trade and Industry (ICTI) under the theme:
“Gas Systems: Efficiency, Safety & Sustainability.”
In his keynote address, Dr. Mishra highlighted that India’s journey toward becoming a global clean energy superpower will depend on the seamless integration of gas infrastructure, hydrogen technologies, renewable energy, logistics, digital innovation, industrial safety, and sustainable development.
He called for stronger collaboration among government institutions, industry, academia, research organizations, startups, and global investors to accelerate infrastructure development, technology adoption, and policy implementation.

The summit featured distinguished speakers from across the energy ecosystem, including Dr. Alok Sharma (Hydrogen Association of India), Mr. Mohit Bhatia (Indraprastha Gas Limited), Dr. Umesh Srivastava (Indian Oil Corporation Limited), Lieutenant Colonel Manish Ahuja (Punjab Renewable Energy Systems), Mr. C. Prabhakar Chakravarthy, Mr. Satish Singh, Mr. Prakash Roy, and several other industry leaders who shared valuable insights on India’s rapidly evolving gas, hydrogen, and clean energy sectors.
The accompanying exhibition showcased cutting-edge innovations in CNG, PNG, LNG, green hydrogen, industrial gases, bio-CNG, biogas, City Gas Distribution (CGD), cryogenic technologies, gas equipment, storage and transportation systems, automation, and advanced safety solutions.
