Key organizational issues discussed; special focus on the SIR survey and preparations for the Central Executive meeting

New Delhi: The Delhi State unit of the All India Milli Council has formally constituted its new executive committee. Dr. Parvez Miyan was unanimously re-elected as the State President, while Raisuddin Saifi was entrusted with the significant responsibility of General Secretary. His appointment is being regarded as an important organizational decision.

The decision was taken during a key meeting held after the General Body session at Taj Enclave Society on June 28, where the election process was completed peacefully and unanimously. Ilyas Saifi was elected Treasurer, while Mufti Ahmad Nadir Qasmi, Firoz Ahmad Siddiqui, Qari Mohammad Asjad Zubair Qasmi, and Ahmad Mauji Khan were elected as Vice Presidents. Javed Rahmani and Imtiaz Ahmad were appointed as Assistant General Secretaries.

In departmental appointments, Advocate Sheikh Imran Ali was named Secretary of the Legal Aid Department, Master Mubeen was assigned the Tahaffuz-e-Shariat Department, and Naim Ansari was appointed Secretary of the Media Department. In addition, Haseeb Ahmad, Professor Hasina Hashiya, and Mehrban Qureshi were nominated as Patrons of the organization.

The meeting featured detailed deliberations on several important organizational matters. A comprehensive discussion was held on the ongoing SIR (Special Intensive Revision) survey across the country. Office-bearers appealed to the public to participate in the survey responsibly and cooperate with the concerned officials. They also urged the Imams of Delhi’s mosques to highlight the importance of the SIR survey during their Friday sermons and encourage people to extend full cooperation to the Booth Level Officers (BLOs).

The meeting also reviewed preparations for the All India Milli Council’s Central Executive Committee meeting scheduled to be held in Delhi on July 19, with emphasis on ensuring its successful organization.

The programme began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an. The election process was conducted under the supervision of Sheikh Nizamuddin, Assistant General Secretary of the Central Milli Council, while the proceedings were moderated by Mufti Ahmad Nadir Qasmi. At the conclusion of the meeting, Wasim Ahmad Fahmi, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Central Office, thanked all participants and congratulated the newly elected office-bearers. He expressed confidence that the Delhi State executive, particularly under the leadership of General Secretary Raisuddin Saifi, would bring renewed momentum and greater effectiveness to the organization’s activities.

Among those present on the occasion were Mohammad Alam (son of Dr. Mohammad Manzoor Alam), Rizwan Saifi, and several other distinguished members.
