World Champion Rashmi Kumari Honours Talented Women with Shri Shakti Award

New Delhi – A grand event celebrating women’s achievements was organized in the national capital by Delhi’s leading social organization, Chaudhary Foundation. The Shri Shakti event aimed to honor women who have made a significant impact in various fields and inspired others through their talent and dedication. These exceptional women were felicitated with the prestigious Shri Shakti Award. The event’s chief guest was world carrom champion Rashmi Kumari, who presented the awards to the deserving recipients

Among the women honored were Parishita Gupta, a gold medalist chess champion; Aadya Gupta; and Devjani Tamoli, who have won accolades in team championships. Also recognized was pilot Ms. Purva Nirmal, who represented India at the 8th Carrom World Championship held in Malaysia, winning both team gold and individual silver medals. Each of these women has excelled in their respective domains and serves as a role model for others.

During the ceremony, all awardees shared their personal experiences and emphasized the importance of women’s active participation in the development of the nation. Chief guest Rashmi Kumari applauded their achievements and highlighted how such recognition motivates other women to break barriers and strive for excellence. She encouraged young girls to pursue their dreams fearlessly and contribute meaningfully to society.

Smt. Sapna Chaudhary, President of the Chaudhary Foundation and organizer of the event, stated that the foundation’s primary goal is to bring forward talented women from across the country and inspire others by showcasing their success stories. “The Shri Shakti Award is dedicated to those women who have brought pride to the nation and shown the way in fields like education, sports, defense, science, entrepreneurship, technology, agriculture, and more,” she said.

The event also featured vibrant cultural performances, including folk dances, speeches, and colorful presentations by young women and girls associated with the foundation. The energy and enthusiasm of the performers added a festive spirit to the celebration.

Several notable guests graced the occasion, including Dr. Parvinder Singh, Vijayendra Kumar Singh, Atul Mishra, Mrityunjay Singh, Sushma Rathi, and Ajay Kumar.
