Wellfest India 2025: Journey to The Wholeness Launched
India’s First Festival on Integrative Wellness and Senior Care Opens at India Expo Centre & Mart
Greater Noida — In a landmark step toward a healthier and more inclusive future, Wellfest India 2025 was inaugurated today at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida by Padma Shri Dr. N K Pandey, Chairman, Asian Group of Medical Institute, in the presence of eminent dignitaries Dr. Nitin Agarwal, President, Organising Committee, Ayuryog Expo, Dr. Neeraj Khanna, Chairman, Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), Shri Avdesh Aggarwal, Chief Convenor, EPCH, Shri R K Verma, Executive Director, EPCH and Shri Sachin Sinha, CFO, India Exposition Mart Ltd.(IEML). The festival, being held from August 2 to 5, 2025, has brought together under one roof two powerful and purpose-driven shows—Ayuryog Expo (7th Edition) and Eldercare India Expo (1st Edition)—marking a revolutionary fusion of India’s ancient healing wisdom and the nation’s first focused initiative on elder care.
In his inaugural address, Dr. N.K. Pandey, Chief Guest of the event, highlighted the festival’s inclusive and transformative nature. He remarked, “It is a great initiative and will help implement health schemes like Ayushman Bharat. Ayushman Bharat is a visionary initiative by our Honourable Prime Minister, and it is poised to become one of the largest healthcare schemes in the world. If we, as Indians, commit to its long-term implementation, it can revolutionise access to healthcare across the nation. However, we’re struggling with a huge gap in our healthcare infrastructure. Allopathy alone cannot bridge this gap. We need to embrace the strengths of our traditional systems and bring Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, naturopathy, yoga, etc., together.” Dr. Pandey also emphasised the need for continued awareness, support systems, and innovation in both wellness and senior care sectors, adding that such exhibitions offer immense value to the growing healthcare and wellness industry.
Dr. Nitin Agarwal, speaking about the strength of the Ayush sector, described Ayuryog Expo as a comprehensive representation of India’s wellness legacy, encompassing Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Siddha, and Unani systems. He said, “This platform captures the full potential and diverse applications of AYUSH, from sustainable healing practices to herbal medicine and holistic wellness solutions. The Ayush sector is growing rapidly, and Ayuryog Expo gives it the global exposure it deserves.” He also said, “As we all know, the global Ayurveda market is witnessing an extraordinary surge — expected to grow from USD 14.4 billion in 2023 to a staggering USD 76.9 billion by 2030. What’s even more promising is that the export of herbal products and Ayush-based formulations from India has already been growing at an impressive annual rate of 20% between 2020 and 2023.”, “This clearly shows that the world is returning to natural, preventive, and holistic healing.” Said Dr. Nitin Agarwal
Dr. Neeraj Khanna, Chairman, EPCH, expressed that government support for platforms like Wellfest India is vital in a time when the wellness economy is booming. He said, “There is immense potential for India to emerge as a global leader in wellness. We must bridge the gap between traditional practices and modern needs, and expos like Wellfest are ideal channels for this integration. With international demand growing, such events are crucial in positioning India at the forefront of the global wellness market.”
Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, India Exposition Mart Ltd. laid his belief in the initiative, saying, “Wellfest India brings together traditional wellness, preventive healthcare, and modern eldercare in a unified ecosystem that caters to all age groups. This initiative stands as a powerful reminder that health is not a luxury, but a shared right, and platforms like this serve as catalysts for real societal change. We must align our policies, innovations, and industry efforts to ride this wave. If we act with vision and speed, India can also dominate the global market as well as become the global wellness capital.”
Wellfest India 2025 stands as a one-of-a-kind celebration of health, dignity, and sustainable living. Ayuryog Expo, now in its seventh edition, showcases the depth of India’s natural healing sciences with exhibits on Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Homoeopathy, Sowa-Rigpa, Panchagavya, Herbal Products, Wellness Tourism, and Natural Healthcare Solutions. Eldercare India Expo, being held for the first time, addresses the critical needs of India’s ageing population—projected to reach 319 million by 2050—with a comprehensive display of senior living, healthcare, rehabilitation, assistive technologies, and age-friendly infrastructure, from medical innovations, physiotherapy, and geriatric care to ergonomic furniture, home safety solutions, elder-friendly architecture, and financial planning services. The joint festival reflects India’s holistic vision of wellness across generations. This transformative platform brings Policymakers, Medical experts & caregivers, Senior-friendly product manufacturers, Architects & designers, Legal & financial advisors, Old age homes, assisted living service providers, Senior citizens, families, and caregivers together.
Besides, there will be engaging sessions and workshops for elderly people on different topics, covering everything from Longevity & Biohacking to Cyber Safety for Seniors and Financial Fitness in Retirement to Food as Medicine.
Adding immense experiential value to the expo are a range of activities and services, including Chair Yoga sessions for seniors, which create a welcoming and health-oriented environment for senior visitors. The event also offers free Entry Health Check-Ups by the Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, promoting proactive screening and medical awareness among attendees. These initiatives reflect the organisers’ commitment to blending learning, care, and community engagement under one roof.
Wellfest India 2025 invites wellness professionals, healthcare innovators, caregivers, researchers, nutritionists, service providers, and senior citizens to participate in a new era of collective wellbeing. The event not only promotes India’s time-honoured healing systems but also provides the much-needed platform for eldercare dialogue and solutions in the modern context.
Wellfest India 2025 is not just a festival—it is a movement. A movement to reconnect with natural healing, to empower our elders, and to envision a future where wellness is accessible, inclusive, and celebrated by all.
