UCO Bank’s Divyangjan Employees Welfare Association Hosts Landmark Disability Awareness Programme
New Delhi : The All India UCO Bank Divyangjan Employees Welfare Association (AIUCBDEWA) successfully organized a Disability Awareness & Sensitization Programme on August 24, 2025 at palm green Hotel & Resort ,Delhi featuring esteemed speakers Advocate Arpit Jain from the Supreme Court, AGM Amit Singh from ZO Delhi, and AGM OM Prakash Gunani from Bhopal ZO. The programme aimed to promote inclusivity, understanding, and empathy towards individuals with disabilities in the workplace, highlighting key aspects such as creating accessible work environments, disability rights, and strategies for promoting empathy. General Secretary Subhrangshu Bhakta Chowdhury and President Akkishetty Srinibasulu emphasized the association’s commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that values and supports Divyangjan employees, with plans to conduct regular sensitization programs and develop guidelines for disability inclusion.
