Sony SAB’s Itti Si Khushi and Pushpa Impossible come together for high- stakes Mahasangam special episodes
Mumbai : This festive season, Sony SAB is set to delight audiences with a
special Mahasangam Saptah that brings together two of its most loved shows – Pushpa
Impossible and Itti Si Khushi. The Mahasangam will witness the coming together of two powerful
women – Pushpa (Karuna Pandey) and Anvita (Sumbul Touqeer Khan), as they confront life-
changing truths that will shake their worlds.
The story takes Pushpa to Khotachiwadi in search of her son Ashwin (Samridh Bawa), after she
grows suspicious of his frequent visits to Bangalore. Pushpa’s fears deepen when she later finds
a cancer prescription in his pocket, making her worry that her son may be hiding a serious illness
from her. What she discovers leaves her shaken. Ashwin is leading a dual life with his ex-
girlfriend, who is battling cancer. Meanwhile, Anvita’s life is thrown into turmoil when her house is
sealed due to unpaid property tax. As fate would have it, Pushpa and Anvita cross paths in
Khotachiwadi. Moved by Anvita’s struggle, Pushpa introduces her to Bapodara (Jayesh
Bharbhaya), who might help her resolve the issue, and leaves her inspired with her kind words.
On the other hand, Anvita’s personal life faces another storm. Sanjay (Rishi Saxena) plots against
Virat (Rajat Verma), planting evidence to trap him, and plans to manipulate Anvita into exposing
Virat. Amidst this chaos, a glimmer of hope arrives when Diya motivates Anvita to participate in a
dance competition where the prize money could help her pay off the property tax. The only
condition, it’s a partner dance. But when Virat, trying to save himself from Sanjay’s trap,
disappears, Anvita is left with no choice but to partner with Pushpa.
Will Anvita win the competition and save her house? Will Virat escape Sanjay’s plotting? And will
Pushpa be able to accept the truth about Ashwin?
This three-day Mahasangam promises an intense mix of drama, revelations, and emotional
upheaval, as two strong women, Pushpa and Anvita, confront hidden truths and rise above their
struggles.
Sumbul Touqeer Khan, played by Anvita in Itti Si Khushi, said, “Anvita is about to face one of
the most defining moments of her journey. Discovering the truth about Sanjay and Virat shakes
her to the core, but it also gives her the courage to stand up for herself. Being a part of the
Mahasangam episodes was challenging yet fulfilling because it highlights Anvita’s resilience. On
a personal note, working with Karuna on this was an absolute joy. Karuna and I both love
dancing, and there’s a scene where we get to dance together, it was such an amazing
experience to shoot. She is fantastic, cordial, and so much fun to work with, which made the
entire process even more special.”
Karuna Pandey, who plays Pushpa in Pushpa Impossible, said, “Pushpa has always been the
pillar of her family, but this time the revelation about Ashwin tests her like never before. It’s an
emotional storm where a mother’s love meets the harshness of truth. Working on this
Mahasangam special has been such a wonderful experience, especially sharing scenes with
Sumbul. Sumbul is fantastic to work with, full of energy, and brings such warmth to the set, which
made every take feel effortless.”
Don’t miss the Mahasangam Saptah of Itti Si Khushi and Pushpa Impossible, only on Sony
SAB, from 24th to 26th September, 9 PM to 10 PM.
