Senior Journalist Rakesh Kumar Singh congratulates Telugu Superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna on receiving Padma Bhushan

Senior journalist Rakesh Kumar Singh, a former member of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), has extended heartfelt congratulations to his good friend, Telugu Superstar and Andhra Pradesh MLA, Nandamuri Balakrishna. The actor was honored with the prestigious Padma Bhushan award by President Droupadi Murmu for his exceptional contribution to the field of Art.
Balakrishna, a prominent figure in the Telugu film industry, has been widely admired for his versatile acting skills and significant influence on Indian cinema. His dedication to his craft and the cultural impact of his work in the Telugu film industry has earned him accolades across the nation. He is the son of three-time Andhra Chief Minister Late N. T. Rama Rao and the brother-in-law of current Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu.
Rakesh Kumar Singh, who has been a close associate of Balakrishna for years, expressed immense pride and joy upon hearing the news. “It is a moment of great pride not only for Balakrishna but for all of us who have followed his illustrious career. His contribution to the world of cinema and his role in enhancing the cultural fabric of our country are immeasurable,” Singh said.
The Padma Bhushan, one of India’s highest civilian honors, was presented to Balakrishna in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the arts, particularly for his influential work in cinema, which has shaped popular culture and inspired generations.
