New Executive Committee Unanimously Elected at Rope Skipping Federation of India Annual General Meeting

New Delhi : The Annual General Meeting, Executive Committee session, and election process of the Rope Skipping Federation of India (Regd.) were successfully held at Hotel Shivdev International in the national capital. The meeting witnessed the presence of office bearers and representatives from across the country. Key issues such as organizational expansion, technical advancement of the sport, athlete development, and strengthening women’s representation were discussed in detail. The entire election process was conducted in a peaceful, transparent, and democratic manner.

The meeting commenced as per the scheduled agenda. A comprehensive report of the past year’s activities was presented, covering national and state-level championships, training camps, and various organizational initiatives. Office bearers informed members that efforts are being intensified to strengthen rope skipping at the grassroots level through greater coordination with schools, universities, and sports academies. The financial report was also presented before the house and was unanimously approved.

For the smooth conduct of elections, Advocate Pankaj Yadav was appointed as the Chief Returning Officer, while Advocate Ashutosh Pandey served as the Co-Returning Officer. Under their supervision, the new executive committee was elected unanimously.

Dr. Ravi Dutt Gaur was elected as the National President of the federation. The Vice Presidents elected include Mr. Praveen (Rajasthan), Mr. Naveen Tamta (UK), and Mr. Bhupendra Singh (Uttar Pradesh). Mr. Nirdesh Sharma has been entrusted with the responsibility of National General Secretary, while Mr. Tarsem Sharma was elected as Treasurer.

Mr. M. Bharat (Bihar) has been appointed as Joint Secretary. The Executive Committee Members include Mr. Ganesh Gagan (Puducherry), Mrs. Nidhi Yadav (Uttar Pradesh), and Mr. M. Lakshmi (Andhra Pradesh).

A Women’s Committee was also constituted as a special initiative. Mrs. Balwinder Kaur has been appointed as Chairperson, while Mrs. Nidhi Yadav will serve as Vice Chairperson. This decision is being viewed as a significant step toward strengthening women’s participation and leadership in sports organizations. Office bearers emphasized that active involvement of women would bring greater balance, inclusivity, and effectiveness in decision-making processes.

Under the formation of the Technical Board, Mr. Shailesh Shukla (Madhya Pradesh) has been appointed as Chairman of the National Technical Board. Mr. Harish will serve as Chief Technical Director, while Mr. Neeraj and Mr. Anuj have been appointed as Technical Directors. The primary objective of the technical team will be to align competition standards with international norms, strengthen referee and coach training programs, and adopt scientific methods to enhance athlete performance.

During the meeting, it was also resolved that the scope of national-level competitions would be expanded in the coming years. Coordinated campaigns will be launched in collaboration with state units to identify and nurture young talent. The federation also agreed to enhance cooperation with the Ministry of Sports and other relevant sports bodies to ensure better resources, advanced training facilities, and increased international exposure for athletes.

The unanimously elected new executive committee reflects unity, transparency, and visionary leadership within the federation. By prioritizing women’s representation, strengthening the technical framework, and expanding grassroots development, the Rope Skipping Federation of India has conveyed a clear message that the sport is poised to establish a stronger presence at both national and international levels in the years ahead.
