Neetu Chandra–Backed Agrifeeder Secures USA FDA Certification, Opens Global Markets for Bihar’s Farmers
New Delhi : Bihar-based agri startup Agrifeeder, co-founded by actor, National Award–winning producer and entrepreneur Neetu Chandra, along with Priya Pandey, Raman Kumar and Raunak Kumar, has secured USA FDA certification, enabling the export of high-quality agricultural produce sourced directly from farmers across Bihar.
The milestone was announced at an event held at Bihar Niwas, New Delhi. The company also unveiled its global-facing brand identity, Agrifeeder by Neetu Chandra, under which all products will now be marketed internationally. As part of the brand rollout, all packaging will carry Neetu Chandra’s name and visual identity, reinforcing trust, accountability, and global consumer recall.
Commenting on the brand launch, Neetu Chandra, Co-founder, Agrifeeder, said,
“This is a long-term commitment to Bihar’s farmers. Putting my name on the packaging means standing behind the quality, the sourcing, and the livelihoods connected to every product. As part of its Bihar-first operating model, the startup has relocated its core operations from Bengaluru to Dubuoli village in Pirpainti, near Bhagalpur, Bihar, embedding its teams within the local farming ecosystem. The company has also adopted the village as part of a long-term community engagement initiative focused on livelihoods, local employment, and agricultural growth.
Founded in 2017, Agrifeeder was created to address structural challenges faced by small and marginal farmers, including limited market access, price volatility, and dependence on intermediaries. Neetu Chandra, widely recognised as “Bihar ki Beti,” is a Hollywood actress, National Award–winning Indian producer, actor, entrepreneur, theatre artist, and social activist.
