Kuljeet Singh Chahal celebrates Rakshabandhan with Navyug School children

NDMC Vice Chairman Shri Kuljeet Singh Chahal today celebrated the festival of Rakshabandhan with great joy and enthusiasm along with the children of Navyug School, Mandir Marg. The event was attended by Smt. Kritika Choudhary, Director (Education), the Principal of the school, and senior officials of the Education Department.
After lighting the ceremonial lamp, the children welcomed Shri Chahal with a melodious welcome song. This was followed by a patriotic song that filled the entire atmosphere with excitement and emotions.
During the programme, the children tied colourful rakhis, conveying the message of love, trust, and the bond of protection. Shri Chahal blessed the children and distributed chocolates and gifts among them.
On the occasion, the school also organized an exhibition showcasing the creativity and talent of the students, which was appreciated by Shri Chahal.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Chahal said, _“Rakhi is not just a festival of tying threads, but a celebration of love, respect, and responsibility. It not only inspires us to protect and care for our loved ones but also strengthens the bonds of trust, cooperation, and affection between the administration and students.”_
After the programme, Shri Chahal, along with the Director (Education), inspected the school premises and interacted with teachers to understand their requirements.
The children said that tying Rakhi to the Vice Chairman was a moment of fortune and pride for them. His blessings and affection made the festival even more memorable. They expressed their gratitude for his visit and encouragement.
