The gymnastics competitions at the Khelo India Youth Games 2025 concluded on Wednesday at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. The event showcased remarkable passion, balance, and skill from the young athletes. In the Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Individual All-Around finals, Harshit D from Uttar Pradesh and Nishika Agarwal from Telangana emerged as the All-Around Champions with stellar performances. Harshit dominated the event with 3 gold and 1 silver medal, while Telangana’s Nishika secured 2 gold and 2 bronze medals. Delhi’s SK Nabigh Ali claimed 2 golds, and Maharashtra’s Anushka Patil stood out with 1 gold and 2 silvers.

Harshit D Crowned All-Around Champion; Delhi and Bengal Athletes Also Impress

In the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Individual All-Around final, Harshit D from Uttar Pradesh won the gold medal with a score of 70.066. Neeladri Sarkar from West Bengal earned silver with 68.734 points, and Delhi’s Akshat Bajaj claimed the bronze with 68.267.

Thrilling Battle Between Nishika and Anushka

In the Women’s category, Telangana’s Nishika Agarwal won the All-Around gold with a score of 44.333. Maharashtra’s Anushka Patil followed with silver at 42.067, and Sara Rawool took bronze with 41.233.

In the Vaulting Table event, Nishika won gold, Anushka silver, and Sara Rawool bronze. The Uneven Bars event saw a shift in dominance as Anushka won gold, Sneha Taryal from Delhi took silver, and Nishika settled for bronze.

Kerala’s Varsha Dominates Balance Beam, Outperforms Bengal and Telangana

In the Balance Beam event, Varsha Anand Nair from Kerala delivered a strong performance to win gold. Jhinia Debnath from West Bengal secured silver, while Nishika Agarwal claimed her fourth podium finish with bronze.

Maharashtra Dominates Floor Exercise

Maharashtra’s Shatakshi Takke won gold in the Floor Exercise, followed by teammate Sara Rawool with silver and Karnataka’s Riya M. with bronze.

Harshit Shines Across Men’s Events, Nabigh from Delhi Makes a Mark

In the Still Rings, Punjab’s Sameer Kohli won gold, Harshit D from UP took silver, and Maharashtra’s Anay Aditya Kirloskar earned bronze. Harshit clinched his second gold in the Floor Exercise, followed by Minhaz S. Saj from Kerala (silver) and Tulin Tiwari from Jharkhand (bronze).

In the Pommel Horse, Delhi’s SK Nabigh Ali won gold, Jatin Kushwaha from UP took silver, and Vikas Yadav claimed bronze. Harshit returned to dominate the Vaulting Table, earning his third gold, while Akshat Bajaj and Reyan Rawat, both from Delhi, won silver and bronze respectively.

In the Parallel Bars, Nabigh Ali added another gold to his tally, Jatin Kushwaha took silver, and Yatharth Kesharwani, also from UP, secured bronze. On the Horizontal Bar, Neeladri Sarkar from Bengal won gold, Dibas Gyan from Jharkhand took silver, and Ajad Laskar from Odisha claimed bronze.

The grand event concluded with Union Minister of State, Shri Ramnath Thakur, presenting medals to the winners and applauding their performances. He said, “The discipline and enthusiasm of these young athletes prove that India is set to emerge as a global sporting force in the coming years.”

Also present at the ceremony were Mamta Shri Ojha, Director of Sports Authority of India; Shri Kumar Digvijay, Labor Commissioner and CAO of Bihar Bhawan; Shri Shams Afroz, ARC Bihar Bhawan; and Shri Dinesh Kumar, Deputy Director of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Bihar. They all congratulated the athletes and encouraged them for future success.
