Janta Darbar in Shakarpur: Police and Community Unite for Better Security
New delhi: Police Janta Darbar program was organized at Aggarwal Dharamshala located at Shakarpur (Ward-202) under the joint aegis of Shakarpur Vikas Parishad and Police Station Shakarpur East Delhi. Security of the area, law and order and other criminal activities were discussed in this social program. Various RWAs and social workers, Police Committee members, Delhi Police Mitra under Shakarpur area participated in this important meeting and interacted with the present police officers Addl. DCP (East), ACP Preet Vihar Sub Division, SHO PS Shakarpur for solution of issues related to Public Security, Law and Order.
This meeting was successfully conducted and chaired by the Chairman of Delhi Municipal Corporation Shahdara South Zone, Councillor of Shakarpur Ward, Hon’ble Shri Ram Kishore Sharma. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police of East District Sh.Vineet Kumar (IPS), newly appointed ACP Preet Vihar Subdivision Sh. Ashok Kumar, Shakarpur Police Station Head Sh. Kamal Kishore and many senior officers of the Police Department were present in the Samvad program.
All the RWA representatives of the area, members of the Market Association, and aware citizens participated in the program in large numbers. During the Samvad, the local residents openly put forward the criminal incidents, theft, snatching and other security related issues happening in the area and presented various suggestions for solution.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police of East District Shri Vineet Kumar IPS listened to all the problems and suggestions seriously and assured prompt and effective action on all points. He also issued necessary guidelines to the police officers present, and also appealed to the citizens to cooperate by becoming the eyes, nose and ears of the police and play the role of a vigilant citizen.
On this occasion, in the dignified presence of Shakarpur Police Station Head, Mr Kamal Kishore, Delhi Police Mitra & Legal Advisor of Upadhyay Block RWA Adv. Harish Gola, senior social worker Delhi Police Mitra Sh. Brahm Prakash Rajouria heartily congratulated Additional Deputy Commissioner (East) of Delhi Police, Vineet Kumar IPS, newly appointed ACP Mr. Ashok Kumar and Chairman Mr. Ram Kishore Sharma by presenting them robes and welcome letters.
