Indo–International Icon Awards Season-3: A Grand Tribute to Human Rights Awareness and Social Excellence

New Delhi: The Indo–International Icon Awards Season-3 and Human Rights Training Workshop, organized by the internationally reputed International Equitable Human Rights Social Council, concluded successfully in a dignified and impressive atmosphere at the Speaker Hall, Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. On this occasion, more than two dozen distinguished personalities—social workers, journalists, artists, and administrative officers—from India and abroad were honored for their outstanding contributions in diverse fields.

The program commenced with a Human Rights Training Workshop. Padma Shri Jitender Singh Shanti, Member of the Punjab Human Rights Commission, elaborated in detail on the nuances of human rights and addressed the questions raised by the audience. He emphasized that human rights are not merely legal terms but the very foundation of human dignity.
Senior Supreme Court advocates Aman Sinha and Babu Lal Narnaulia expressed their views, stating that human rights are an integral part of life and that every citizen must remain aware and vigilant about them.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Kapil Khanna, President of the World Hindu Council (Indraprastha Province, Delhi), appealed to everyone to remain connected with society and adopt a spirit of service as a life goal. The Special Guest, Mr. Satish Upadhyay, former President of BJP Delhi Pradesh, Co-Incharge of Madhya Pradesh, and popular MLA from Malviya Nagar, explained the importance of human rights in simple terms and described such programs as the need of the hour.
Dr. Umer Ahmed Ilyasi, Chief Imam of the All India Imam Organization, linked human rights with Islamic teachings in his address and congratulated all the award recipients.
The organization’s International Chairman, Sanjay Sinha, stated that the primary objective of the Council is to train and sensitize citizens across India and the world about human rights. To achieve this goal, the organization regularly conducts training workshops, seminars, and award ceremonies to provide due recognition to individuals making positive contributions to society.
The National President (Minority Wing), Mohammad Irfan Ahmed, expressed gratitude to all the distinguished guests and emphasized that along with rights, understanding one’s duties is equally important. He stressed the need for collective efforts to make India a developed nation and stated that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are playing a significant role in strengthening national unity, integrity, and building a self-reliant India, inspiring society to contribute actively.
Distinguished Awardees

The honored personalities included senior railway officer Ravindra Goyal, New Delhi District BJP President Ravindra Kumar Singh, women’s rights activist Sudesh Sharma, MCD Councillors Anjum Mandal and Kamal Bhardwaj, Dr. Nandini Sharma, former Secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association Rohit Pandey, journalists Furkan Salmani, Gufran Afridi, Maruf Raza, Khurshid Rabbani, Mustaqeem Khan, Mohammad Azad, Iqbal Chaudhary, visually impaired social worker from Maharashtra Vikas Kumar Kubde, child artist (TV actress) Ashvi Dhiman from Himachal Pradesh, Delhi-based poetess Dr. Ana Dehlvi and Popular Meeruthi, social worker Pooja Rani, social workers from Bihar Sachin Saurabh and Yuvraj Kumar, senior journalist from Uttar Pradesh Santosh Shrivastava, Priyanka Bhattacharjee from Jharkhand, along with several other social workers and journalists.
A special highlight of the ceremony was the honoring of Reyasat Ali Sameer, Senior Correspondent Fact India News and Vice President of the South Delhi Journalists Association, who received the Indo–International Icon Award for his impartial, fearless, and socially committed journalism. His recognition has been widely appreciated within media circles.
Among the other distinguished attendees were Jagannath Kunjbihari (National Organizing Secretary, Bharat Bharati, RSS), R. L. Francis (President, Poor Christian Movement), Buddhist leader Bhante Rupesh, Sikh leader Sardar K. S. Duggal, Ehsan Abbasi (President, Pasmanda Muslim Samaj Utthan Samiti Sangh), Maulana Yaqub Bulandshahri, Maulana Qasim Qasmi, Dilshad Qureshi, Zaheer Qureshi from Baroda, Gujarat, Sunil Kumar, and many other eminent personalities.
The success of the event was made possible by the significant contributions of Sushil Singh, Satbir Singh, Amit Singh, Gautam Thakur, Iqbal Mirasi (Delhi State President, Pasmanda Muslim Samaj Utthan Samiti Sangh – Regd.), and the entire Bharat Bharati team.
