With ‘Invocation Meditation,’ thousands of ISSYOGA practitioners offered their devotion and received Shaktipat initiation

Noida: Under the auspices of the Antarashtriya ISSYOGA Samaj, a grand Guru Purnima celebration was held on Thursday at the magnificent auditorium of Sarovar Premier in Gaur City. Thousands of ISSYOGA practitioners from across the country and abroad participated with deep devotion, offering flowers of reverence at the feet of the spiritually devoted Sadgurudev Maa, Bijaya Ji.
The event began at 10:30 AM with the divine chant of ‘Omkaram.’ Following the instructions of Sadgurudev Maa, the society’s secretary, Kumar Sahay Verma, lit the ceremonial lamp. Dr. Drashanika Patel, an NRI ISSYOGA practitioner from England, garlanded the portraits of the Guru and Gurumaa.

According to Dr. Anil Sulabh, Joint Secretary of the organization, after the lighting of the lamp, a half-hour long collective ‘Invocation Meditation’ (Aahvaan Sadhana) was conducted, followed by a ritualistic Guru worship. The puja was performed on behalf of all ISSYOGA practitioners by Secretary Kumar Sahay Verma, Joint Secretary (Headquarters) E. Umesh Kumar, and local coordinator Radheshyam Pandey. Senior ISSYOGI Acharya from Delhi, Deenanath Shastri, performed the rituals of Guru Poojan as the officiating priest.
Following the Guru Poojan, in her blessings, Maa Vijaya stated that human society is gradually forgetting its core values. Our values shape our lives. To ensure that life remains auspicious, beneficial, and blissful, our ancestors had established a systematic plan for childbirth, which included various sacraments beginning from conception. There are 16 sacraments prescribed in human life.
Maa Bijaya explained that Guru Purnima is not just about showing devotion and offering reverence to the Guru, but also about resolving to live by the Guru’s teachings. Practitioners must turn inward in their meditation. The deeper one immerses in spiritual practice, the closer one gets to the Guru and the Supreme being.
ISSYOGA is the path through which, under the Guru’s grace, a true seeker attains self-realization and experiences the Divine.
On this occasion, several ISSYOGA practitioners shared their heartfelt expressions about the glory of the Guru and the subtle spiritual impact of ISSYOGA. Among those who spoke were Priyanka Raj, Pinky Kumari, Vend Prakash, Sudha Devi, Kailash Suhas Surya, Jitendra Singh, Ashok Kumar, Shail Kumari, and Pankaj Kumar Jha.
In the evening, a Shaktipat Initiation Ceremony was also held, during which Satguru Maa Bijaya Ji granted the essential Shaktipat Diksha (energy initiation) to new seekers (men and women), enabling them to begin the subtle spiritual practice of ISSYOGA.

The celebration concluded with a half-hour subtle “Cosmic Meditation” (Brahmand Sadhana), an interfaith prayer for global welfare, and a grand evening meal (Mahaprasad).
The event saw the active participation of Joint Secretary and former MP Rama Devi, Sangeeta Jha, Sandeep Kumar Gupta (Chhote Bhaiya), Lakshmi Prasad Sahu, Neena Dubey Gupta, Shivam Jha, Saroj Gutgutia, Kavya Singh, Arvind Chaudhary, Vandana Verma, Anant Kumar Sahu, Kapileshwar Mandal, Sushil Prajapati, Anand Kumar, Dr. Manoj Dhamija, Malini Vijay Mishra, Shriprakash Singh, Rajeev Kumar, Dr. Manoj Raj, and many other officials and volunteers of the organization.
The success of the event was the result of months of dedicated effort by practitioners like Radheshyam Pandey, Arvind Kumar, Brahmjyot Kaur, Lalan Prasad, Rajeev Tiwari, Tameshwar Mishra, and numerous ISSYOGA members from Delhi and the NCR region.
