Harish Arora Honoured with the ‘Vagishwari Samman’

New Delhi: On the occasion of the Delhi Book Fair 2025, the Federation of Indian Publishers, Indian Reprographics Rights Organisation, and the Authors’ Guild of India honoured senior litterateur and Professor in the Department of Hindi at P.G.D.A.V. College (Evening), University of Delhi, Harish Arora, with the Vagishwari Samman for his remarkable contribution to the world of literature. The award was presented to him by the Union Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
On this occasion, Harish Arora stated that this honour was not his alone, but belonged to all those writers who are continuously engaged in guiding society through their creative writings. So far, Prof. Harish Arora has been honoured with more than 25 awards from various national and international organisations. In his 35-year-long literary journey, over 45 of his books have been published.
