Grand Procession of Juloos-e-Mohammadi on the Birth Anniversary of the Prophet of Islam
A Sea of Devotees Surges from Chhattarpur to Mehrauli

The capital city of Delhi once again witnessed the celebration of the Prophet of Islam’s birth anniversary with great reverence and splendor this year. On this occasion, under the aegis of Al Ittehad Islamiya Committee (Regd.), the Juloos-e-Mohammadi was carried out from Masjid Parewali, located in D Block, Ambedkar Colony, to the shrine of Hazrat Khwaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki (R.A.) in Mehrauli. This year’s procession turned out to be historic as a greater number of devotees thronged the event compared to previous years.
Leadership of Ahle Sunnat Scholars
After the Friday prayers, the procession began with a recitation of Naat-e-Rasool by Imam Maulana Abdul Qayyum Nizami of Masjid Parewali. The scholars of Ahle Sunnat from Mehrauli led the march. The prominent participants included:

Welcome of the Procession and Langar Distribution
The procession passed through Block A and Block B of Ambedkar Colony, where local residents welcomed it by showering flowers and arranging langar (community meal distribution).
Patronage and Hospitality of the Committee
Al Ittehad Islamiya Committee organized the entire event with meticulous planning and discipline. Committee President Reyasat Ali Sameer welcomed the scholars and guests with garlands. Alongside him, members and workers including Mohammad Hanif, Shakeel Ahmed, Chaman Ansari, Azam Khan, Imtiaz Ansari, Sharafat Ansari, Akbar Khan, Sakhawat Ansari, Shubrati, Hameed Khan, Golu Bhai, Babar Khan, Afzal, Abid, Sahil, Azharu, Mohammad Aman, Zainul Abedin, Wakeel Ahmed alias Shadab, Kamir alias Nasru, Asif Ali alias Munna, Irshad Ali, Saif Ali, Rahees alias Tinku, Fardeen, Arif Ansari, Alam Ansari, Shadab Khan and many others actively contributed at every level.
Salat-o-Salaam at Auliya Masjid
When the procession reached Auliya Masjid, Salat-o-Salaam was recited at the prayer mats of three elders, followed by supplication. On this occasion, Maulana Syed Haider Ali Qadri welcomed the scholars with garlands.
Chadar Offering at Dargah Qutb Sahib
Later, the procession reached the shrine of Hazrat Khwaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki (R.A.), where the scholars and devotees offered a ceremonial chadar and prayed for the safety, peace, and prosperity of the nation and society. The program concluded in this spiritual atmosphere.
Dignified Presence of Social Workers and Public Representatives
The Juloos-e-Mohammadi was graced by the presence of senior Delhi Pradesh Congress Party leader Shaukat Chaudhary. Alongside him, social activist Anil Tyagi, MLA representative Ajay Mathur, municipal councillor’s representative, and Aam Aadmi Party leader Naresh Tyagi, among other dignitaries, were present. All extended greetings on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi.

Excellent Arrangements by Police and Administration
Delhi Police and the administration ensured outstanding security and traffic management. The atmosphere remained spiritual and peaceful with chants and naats, and the procession was conducted in discipline and mutual respect.
Mehfil-e-Milad at Masjid Parewali
On the same day after Isha prayers, a Mehfil-e-Milad was held at Masjid Parewali, where Naat-e-Rasool and religious discourses were delivered. Imam Maulana Abdul Qayyum Nizami conducted the program. Maulana Syed Haider Ali Qadri, Mufti Mohammad Hasan Raza, Maulana Hashmat Ali Naimi, Maulana Hafiz Akram Raza Khan, and many others participated. The program concluded with the distribution of langar.
