The Grand Mufti of India, Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad shared a post on his social media handle on X, stating “The current tension between India and Pakistan has become more complicated, so that the lives of innocent people and the peaceful social environment in India are not lost and peace prevails, so that prayers should be offered in mosques after Jumu’ah today. India’s moves and efforts against terrorism and extremism must be successful. The steps taken yesterday will proclaim the strength and power of the country in that sense. At the same time, there must be a situation free of wars and conflicts for the survival and sustainable life of humanity. The country should pay more attention in the coming days to suppress terrorism through diplomatic efforts, global cooperation and pressure. The situation where ordinary civilians suffer due to war must also be avoided. On this occasion, citizens should maintain a mind and approach that ensures the security, unity and integrity of the country
