Grand Milad Conference & Jashn-e-Maula Ali Held in Delhi, Students Shine in Qirat, Azaan and Naat

Under the joint auspices of Darbar-e-Ahle Sunnat Delhi Sharif and Tanzeem-e-Ulama-e-Islam Delhi, a grand “Milad Conference & Jashn-e-Maula Ali” along with prize-winning competitions of Qirat (Qur’anic recitation), Azaan, and Naat Khwani was magnificently organized on Saturday, 3 January 2026 (13 Rajab 1447 Hijri) at Aiwan-e-Ghalib, Mata Sundari Road, New Delhi.
The spiritually uplifting programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various madrasas across Delhi and nearby regions, who showcased exceptional talent, devotion, and command over Islamic recitations. The competitions commenced at 2:00 PM under the supervision of Mufti Mohammad Munazzam Khan Naeemi Nizami Azhari.
The esteemed panel of judges included Maulana Zia-ul-Mustafa Qadri, Maulana Sarwar Ali Tahseeni, Maulana Qari Bakhtiyar Hussain Aleemi, Qari Shuaib Ziyai, Qari Ahmad Ali Khateebi, and Maulana Tasleem Raza Khan.
On the occasion, Hazrat Hafiz and Qari Ahmad Ali Khateebi was honoured with the prestigious “Khidmat-e-Qur’an Award” in recognition of his nearly 45 years of dedicated religious and educational service.
Prizes were awarded to students securing top positions in the competitions.
Azaan: First – Mohammad Gauhar; Second – Mohammad Ikramuddin; Third – Mohammad Altamash.
Naat: First – Mohammad Amanat; Second – Mohammad Dilkhush; Third – Mohammad Jabir.
Qirat: First – Mohammad Arshad; Second – Hasan Raza; Third – Mohammad Jabir.
The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Maulana Syed Javed Ali Naqshbandi, Maulana Mohammad Tasleem Raza Khan, and Mufti Ashfaq Hussain Qadri.
Following the Maghrib prayer, the main Milad Conference was held under the chairmanship of Hazrat Maulana Syed Javed Ali Naqshbandi Dehlvi. The conference was patronized by Maulana Tasleem Raza Khan Barelvi, while the overall organization was led by Mufti Ashfaq Hussain Qadri.
Keynote speakers Maulana Irfan-ul-Haq Rizvi and Mufti Khalid Ayyub Misbahi delivered insightful addresses highlighting the life, courage, wisdom, and virtues of Hazrat Maula Ali (Karramallahu Wajhahu) and the esteemed status of the Ahl-e-Bait.
The gathering was further enriched by soulful Naat and Manqabat recitations by Maulana Mohammad Ashraf Bilali and Hafiz Mohammad Farhan Barkati, creating an atmosphere of deep spiritual devotion.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt dua by Qari Sagheer Ahmad Qadri, followed by a vote of thanks presented by Maulana Syed Kashif Ali Naqshbandi. The event reinforced the rich spiritual heritage of Ahle Sunnat and inspired the younger generation towards the Qur’an, Naat, and Islamic values.
