Grand Launch of Farhan Akhtar’s Film “120 Bahadur” Song in Lucknow — Stars to Attend the Event
Bollywood (Bureau): Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios’ upcoming war drama “120 Bahadur” is among the most anticipated films of the year. The film’s teaser and posters have already offered a glimpse into its powerful narrative, inspired by the valor and sacrifice of Indian soldiers. While audiences eagerly await its release, the makers are now gearing up to begin the film’s music campaign with great fanfare.
The first song of the film — the patriotic anthem “Dada Kishan Ki Jai” — will be launched in Lucknow with a grand celebration. Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios are planning a large-scale event to mark the beginning of the film’s music promotions. The song has been composed by the acclaimed duo Salim–Sulaiman, penned by Javed Akhtar, and sung by Sukhwinder Singh. “Dada Kishan Ki Jai” captures the soul of the film — a resounding war cry that evokes deep emotion and honors the bravery of Indian soldiers. According to the makers, the song reflects the essence of the story and sets the tone for the entire music album.
Farhan Akhtar, who plays Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, in the film, shares a special bond with Sukhwinder Singh since their collaboration on “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.” This connection makes the Lucknow launch even more memorable. The team believes that audiences will deeply resonate with the song’s spirit of patriotism, passion, and energy, marking a powerful start to the film’s journey.
“120 Bahadur” portrays the extraordinary courage of 120 soldiers of the 13 Kumaon Regiment, who fought heroically in the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 war. The heart of the film reverberates with a powerful line: “Hum Peeche Nahin Hatenge” — We Will Not Retreat.
The film has been directed by Rajneesh ‘Raazi’ Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandra (Trigger Happy Studios). “120 Bahadur” is set to release in cinemas on November 21.
