New Delhi : New Qutub Road Merchants Association President Vikas Kumar Singhal, Vice President Naveen Jain, Treasurer Shyam Agarwal, General Secretary Dheeraj Gogia organized a meeting regarding the problems occurring in the markets every day. In which Federation of Sadar Bazar Trades Association Chairman Paramjit Singh Pamma, President Rakesh Yadav, General Secretary Rajendra Sharma, Satpal Singh Manga, Kamal Kumar, Treasurer Deepak Mittal and many other traders were present.
In the meeting, traders told that criminal incidents keep happening every day from Teliwara Chowk to Mithai Pul. In which a gang of 5-6 people targets traders and buyers. They snatch cash from someone and mobile from someone and threaten shopkeepers if they say anything and the patrolling of Bada Hindu Rao police station is almost negligible. The street vendors also have complete control on the roads.
Paramjeet Singh Pamma and Rakesh Yadav assured the traders that they will soon meet DC IAS Vandana Rao ji and DCP IPS Raja Banthia ji and if the problem is not solved in the coming time, they will also take to the streets. He said that there is a problem every day with the e-rickshaw drivers here, due to which there is a jam and many criminal incidents also take place.
Paramjeet Singh Pamma and Rakesh Yadav said that the traders told that during rains, water enters the shops, which causes a lot of damage. If some arrangement is made for cleaning and drainage of sewer lines, then a big problem will be solved.
