Central Caste Census Bill welcomed
New Delhi : As per the instructions of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Devendra Yadav, a special meeting of Congressmen was organized in Kucha Ghasiram Chandni Chowk area under the Sangathan Srajan campaign under the leadership of Chandni Chowk Block Congress Committee President Manoj Gupta, in which gratitude was expressed to the Modi government for getting the National Census Bill passed as a result of the tireless efforts of the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Congress leader Shri Rahul Gandhi ji and continuous pressure in the House. Observer of Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency Jagjivan Sharma, who was present in the program, said that for the last several years our leader Rahul Gandhi had made a demand for conducting caste census inside the Parliament. Congress wants that every particular caste should get participation in the government in proportion to its numbers, so that development and welfare can be done by giving equal status to Dalit backward poor people. District Chandni Chowk Observer Pramod Jayant and Chandni Chowk District Congress President Javed Mirza presented the resolution that we all welcome the caste census bill brought by Rahul Gandhi in the interest of the country. Chandni Chowk Municipal Ward Observer Sharanjit Sharma said in his address that the popular President of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee Devendra Yadav has sent us to select a candidate for the Delhi Municipal Corporation by-election. We have to select a good and unanimously accepted winning candidate, in which the cooperation of all of you is mandatory. Chandni Chowk Block Congress Committee President Manoj Gupta said in this regard that whether the Congress is in power or out of power, it keeps working for the benefit of the people and will continue to do so in future too. The meeting was conducted by senior citizen Murari Lal Vashisht, prominent social workers, mainly Advocate Harish Gola from DPCC, former Block President Ranjit Singh Luhera, Ajay Jain Lalu Bhai, Ashok Kumar, Gaurav Jain, Satyendra Kumar Jain, Gaurav Jain, Bhola Bhai, Meena Sharma, Aditya Jain, Mackey Jain, Ram Naresh Mudgal, etc. Hundreds of people were present in the meeting. On this occasion, other guests present in the program also expressed their views.
