Assam’s Delegation of 57 Departs from Guwahati for Vidya Bharati National Cultural Festival and Vedic Mathematics Competition.

A team of 57 representatives from Assam has departed from Guwahati by train to participate in two prestigious national events organized by Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan . The National Cultural Festival will be held from November 5 to 7, 2025, in Sitamarhi, Bihar. Parallelly, the All India Vedic Mathematics Competition is scheduled from November 6 to 9, 2025, in Jalandhar, Punjab . The Assam contingent, representing Vidya Bharati’s Northeast region under the “Shishu Shiksha Samiti, Assam,” comprises 38 students and 19 guiding teachers. The delegation was bid farewell with best wishes at the Assam Prakashan Bharati auditorium. Key dignitaries present at the farewell included Dr. Pawan Tiwari, Organization Minister of Vidya Bharati Northeast, Dr. Jagdeindra Raychoudhury, Regional Secretary, Jagannath Rajvanshi, General Secretary of Shishu Shiksha Samiti Assam, Ratul Deka, Provincial Head of Sanskriti Bodh Project, and Mahananda Das, Regional Head of Vedic Mathematics. The team aims to showcase Assam’s cultural richness and mathematical prowess at these national-level competitions.
