A.S.N.School holds Investiture Ceremony

Jammu : A.S.N.Hr.Sec.School, Channi Himmat, Jammu today holds Investiture Ceremony of Student Council Members inside the School Auditorium. Dr. Darakshan Andrabi, Chairperson Hajj & Waqf Board, Jammu & Kashmir was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Mrs. P B Kapoor, Managing Director Adarsh Educational Trust was the Special Invitee where as Mr. Ritesh Kapoor, Director A. S. N. Hr. Sec. School, Mrs. Neetu Gandotra, Principal Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Channi Himmat, Mrs. Seema Sambyal, Principal Holy Presentation Convent School, Kathua, Mrs. Vishakha Pandita, Outreach Manager, Shoolini University and Mrs. Meera Gujral from Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Channi Himmat graced the occasion as Guests of Honour.
The function started with presentation of floral bouquets to the Guests followed by Saraswati Vandana and lighting of Ceremonial Lamp. Mrs. Tinka Gupta, Senior Teacher of the School presented the welcome address and conducted the proceedings of the programme.
Mr. Ritesh Kapoor, Director of the School congratulated the newly elected Student Council Members. He said that the school recognized the leadership potential of the contestants and their commitment to their peers. He added that as today these students have taken the oath, they need to remember that leadership is about serving others, listening to their voices and working together towards a common goal. He said that dedication, passion and leadership potential have earned them this responsibility and their journey began today for the betterment of the student community and of the school.
Mrs. Neetu Gandotra, Principal Govt. Hr.Sec. School, Channi Himmat appreciated the role of the school management in coming forward and letting children learn the value of voting and nominating them for various posts and then campaigning and contesting. She said making children aware of the voting rights from the school itself speaks volumes about the dedication and passion of the school towards the welfare of the society.
Dr. Darakshan Andrabi, Chairperson Hajj & Waqf Board, J&K congratulated the School and the teachers for the conduct of the programme. She said, as the students take on new roles and responsibilities, I urge them to lead with integrity, compassion and wisdom. She added that leadership is not just authority but about inspiring others and making a positive impact.
The students were presented badges for their victory in student council elections.
Raqib Talib of 11th Class elected as Head Boy, Pratibha Charak of 12th Class as Head Girl, Gitansh Singh Charak of 8th Class as Dy. Head Boy and Parinidhi Singh of 9th Class elected as Dy. Head Girl.
Anshuman Singh of 10th Class elected as House Captain of Water House, Poonam Kumari of 8th Class as House Captain of Air House, Muntaha Qayoom of 8th Class as House Captain of Fire House, Zoya Khan of 7th Class as House Captain of Earth House, Ranvijay Singh Charak of 12th Class as Boys Sports Captain and Lavanya Kapoor of 8th Class elected as Girls Sports Captain.
The function closed with presentation of Souvenirs to the Guests followed by Vote of thanks presented by Mrs. Pankaj Jasrotia, Senior Teacher of the School followed by National Anthem.
