Following the presentation of the Chadar, the Qutub-ul-Aqtab Conference will be organised. Ulema, Mashaikh and speakers will speak about the life, teachings, Tariqat, spirit of service, love and brotherhood of Hazrat Khwaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki, as well as his significant contribution to the spiritual and cultural history of India.

On this occasion, the message will also be highlighted that the Khanqahi tradition of the Awliya-e-Kiram is not merely a legacy of the past, but also carries a living message of love, peace, morality, service and humanity for people today. In particular, connecting the younger generation with the teachings of the Sufis is an important need of the present time.

On Friday, August 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM, a spiritual gathering of Qul Sharif will be held at the sacred shrine. The Urs programmes will continue with Quran Khwani, Zikr-o-Azkar, Fatiha Khwani, prayers and Isal-e-Sawab. Special prayers will also be offered for the welfare of the country and nation, peace and security, mutual love and the well-being of humanity.

It is also noteworthy that the above-mentioned conference and related programmes held outside the sacred shrine are organised by the Qutub Educational and Welfare Foundation, while the religious and spiritual programmes held inside the Dargah are conducted under the supervision of the Dargah Managing Committee, which is associated with the administrative system of the Delhi Waqf Board. Both administrative levels have their respective areas of responsibility and defined roles in the organisation of the programmes.

In connection with Hazrat Khwaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki, the land of Mehrauli Sharif has for centuries remained a centre of spiritual blessings, love and service. The Urs associated with his shrine enables devotees every year not only to connect with the great spiritual heritage of the past, but also to spread the message of love, tolerance, morality and service to humanity in the present era.

On the occasion of Urs-e-Qutub-ul-Aqtab, devotees have been urged to participate in the spiritual programmes while maintaining discipline, cleanliness, mutual respect and cooperation with the administration, and to resolve to incorporate the teachings of Hazrat Khwaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki into their practical lives.
