GPRA Type-5 Bathed in the Spirit of Patriotism, Children Give Brilliant Performances
New Delhi: The 80th Independence Day of the country was celebrated with great enthusiasm, joy and patriotic fervour at GPRA Type-5, Sarojini Nagar. The pride of the Tricolour and the शानदार cultural performances by children made the celebration memorable. The Independence Day celebration was also the first collective programme of this new residential society.
Children participated enthusiastically in the programme. Their patriotic performances further strengthened the spirit of enthusiasm and national pride among those present. Their talent and energy became a special attraction of the celebration.
On the occasion, saplings were also distributed among the children. They were encouraged to plant the saplings and remain conscious of environmental protection. The organisers said that responsibility towards the nation is not limited to celebrating Independence Day. Contributing to the creation of a clean, green and better society is also the duty of every citizen.
It may be recalled that GPRA Type-5, Sarojini Nagar, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on March 8, 2026. Residents began moving into the society from the last week of June. The Independence Day celebration provided an important opportunity to bring the residents of the new society together and strengthen the spirit of community.
