New Delhi : Renowned legal professional and author Mohd. Irshad Ahmad, Advocate, Supreme Court of India, is all set to release his latest travel memoir, Kashmir – A Journey Beyond Time, during the second week of August 2026. The book, published by the Aligarh Literature Festival, Publications Secretariat, has reached its final stage of publication and will soon be available to readers across the country.
Written during and inspired by the author’s memorable six-day visit to Srinagar and its surrounding destinations, Kashmir – A Journey Beyond Time is a heartfelt travel memoir that celebrates the unparalleled natural beauty, cultural richness, and timeless charm of the Kashmir Valley. Unlike a conventional travel guide, the book presents a deeply personal narrative filled with observations, emotions, memorable encounters, and reflections that transform a short journey into an enduring literary experience.
Throughout the book, the author vividly portrays Kashmir’s snow-capped mountains, verdant hills, picturesque valleys, world-famous Mughal gardens, crystal-clear lakes, flowing streams, and the iconic houseboats and colourful shikaras gracefully floating on the tranquil waters of Dal Lake and Nigeen Lake.
