Parul University’s online certificate course in Gastroenterology will commence from June 2025

In a new and exciting initiative aimed at enhancing the global practice of Ayurvedic medicine, Parul University has announced the launch of an online certificate course in Ayurvedic Gastroenterology in collaboration with Canadian College of Ayurveda and Yoga. This specialized course will be offered to Ayurvedic doctors, medical experts, and naturopaths in India and abroad, and will commence from June 1, 2025.
The announcement was made during a press conference organised by Professor Dr. Hemant D. Toshikhane, Dean and Principal, Parul Institute of Ayurveda. Dr. Toshikhane outlined the global demand for advanced Ayurvedic training in gastroenterology and shared that the course aims to provide professionals with in-depth knowledge of Ayurvedic approaches in treating complex gastrointestinal disorders.
“The collaboration between Parul University and the Canadian College of Ayurveda is a milestone in the global expansion of Ayurvedic education,” said Dr. Hemant D. Toshikhane. “This course will provide in-depth training on Ayurvedic treatment of serious gastrointestinal diseases such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, gastritis, peptic ulcers, celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), chronic constipation, fatty liver, liver cirrhosis and others.”
This course is not only for Ayurvedic graduates but also for medical professionals and naturopaths based in countries such as the USA, Canada, the UK, Europe and Asia, providing them with a unique opportunity to integrate Ayurvedic principles in their practice. Dr. Toshikhane further added that this program will also help open up new global career opportunities for Ayurvedic physicians and health professionals.
