Grand Celebration of Diwali Milan Ceremony with South Delhi Journalists Association

The Diwali Milan Ceremony organized at the office of Delhi Study Group, located in Sangam Vihar, became even more special this year with the remarkable presence of journalists. Senior BJP leader Dr. Vijay Jolly and his team warmly welcomed the office bearers and members of the South Delhi Journalists Association, appreciating the vital role of journalism in society.
The event witnessed the presence of several distinguished guests, including Subhash Nagar, Joint Secretary of Delhi Study Group. Journalists were felicitated with ceremonial shawls and extended heartfelt Diwali greetings.
On this occasion, Dr. Vijay Jolly said —
> “Journalists are the eyes and ears of society. They act as a bridge between the government and the people. Organizations like the South Delhi Journalists Association strengthen the democratic values of our nation.”
Praising the leadership of Association President Rajnaryan Mishra, Dr. Jolly added that the organization will establish a strong identity in South Delhi while protecting journalists’ interests and presenting the truth of society with integrity and fairness.
On behalf of the association, President Rajnaryan Mishra expressed gratitude to Dr. Vijay Jolly and his team, saying —
> “It is a matter of pride for us that the tradition of honoring journalists continues. We shall keep fulfilling the true spirit of journalism by being the voice of the people.”
Association General Secretary Ajit Kumar described Dr. Jolly as a “balanced social and political personality”, adding —
> “His initiative greatly boosts the morale of journalists. We wish him success and extend our best wishes for this successful event.”
During the program, senior journalist Mohammad Rashid Saifi represented Fact India News on behalf of correspondent Reyasat Ali Sameer, who could not attend the event, and received the honor on the organization’s behalf. He remarked —
> “Journalism is not just a profession, but a social responsibility. Platforms like the South Delhi Journalists Association will take journalists’ unity and dignity to new heights.”
Although the organization was formed only about one and a half months ago, under the leadership of President Rajnaryan Mishra, it has already demonstrated remarkable activeness and organizational strength in safeguarding journalists’ interests. The disciplined and united participation of members in the Diwali Milan Ceremony proved that the South Delhi Journalists Association has now established a strong identity in South Delhi’s media fraternity.
