Grand Celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi at Mehrauli’s Historic Noori Masjid

New Delhi : A grand and spiritually enriching event was organized at the historic Noori Masjid in Mehrauli to commemorate the sacred occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi. The program was held under the patronage of the eminent scholar and spiritual guide of the Ashrafia lineage, Maulana Qari Meraj-ul-Hasan Khan Ashrafi Jayasi. The gathering saw the participation of a large number of devotees and scholars, creating an atmosphere filled with spirituality and devotion.
Commencement of the Program
The event commenced with a soulful recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Shahid, which filled the hearts of attendees with tranquility and the light of faith. Following this, Hafiz Manazir, Hafiz Tasleem Raza, and Maulana Rashid presented naatiya kalam (poems in praise of the Prophet) in their melodious and heartfelt style. These renditions imbued the atmosphere with deep love and reverence for the Prophet of Islam, making it even more sacred.

Renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Hasan Raza Qadri Manjari delivered a powerful and inspiring speech, elaborating on the significance of love for the Prophet of Islam and the importance of following his Sunnah (traditions). His address profoundly touched the hearts of the audience and was met with enthusiastic appreciation through Islamic slogans. This discourse further strengthened the spirit of faith and devotion among the attendees.
Skillful Moderation and Call to Action
The program was expertly moderated by Maulana Hashmat Ali Naimi with great finesse and elegance. In his address, Maulana Ilyas Ashrafi urged Muslims to adopt the Prophet’s Sunnah in their daily lives and keep his teachings alive.

The event was presided over by the Imam and Khateeb of Noori Masjid, Maulana Alauddin Nakshbandi. He expressed gratitude to all the scholars, guests, and devotees present at the gathering. On this occasion, Peer-e-Tariqat Maulana Meraj-ul-Hasan Khan Ashrafi Jayasi expressed his joy and satisfaction over the conferment of the Sanad-e-Khilafat (certificate of spiritual succession) to Maulana Alauddin Nakshbandi by Sheikh-ul-Islam Allama Syed Madani Miyan. Maulana Muhammad Bakhtiyar Hussain Alimi described this achievement as a matter of pride for the scholars and community of Mehrauli.

The program concluded with the recitation of Durood-o-Salaam (salutations upon the Prophet) and a collective supplication. The sacred gathering was attended by numerous devotees, including Master Nazar, Asif, Arif, Abdul Sami Mahboob, Abdul Aleem, and many other ardent followers of the Prophet in large numbers.
