New Delhi : From the historic Badi Masjid of village Chhattarpur, under the Chhattarpur Assembly constituency in South Delhi, large-scale relief material was sent to aid the flood-affected people of Punjab. This noble initiative was organized under the supervision of Millat-e-Awam Intezamia Committee, Badi Masjid Chhattarpur. A remarkable feature of this relief effort was the active participation of people from different faiths, setting a unique example of humanity and unity. The committee’s secretary, Chaudhary Momin, remarked, “Our help may be limited, but with the cooperation of society, we will continue to send relief materials to the flood-hit areas of Punjab.”

The role of senior social worker Shaukat Chaudhary was particularly commendable in the success of this campaign. He visited the mosque, appealed to people to donate, and encouraged wider participation through social media and public outreach.
