NIPUN’s Bal Vatika Celebrates the Spirit of Freedom and Education on India’s 79th Independence Day
New Delhi : NIPUN’s Bal Vatika Project marked India’s 79th Independence Day with a vibrant celebration that brought together children, parents, and educators in an atmosphere filled with pride, joy, and patriotism.
The day commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag, as the tricolour soared high, evoking deep emotions of unity and national pride. This was followed by an engaging cultural programme, where children showcased their talents through songs, dances, and skits — each performance a colourful tribute to the spirit of the nation. Parents beamed with pride as their young ones took the stage with confidence, reflecting the remarkable growth and learning achieved at Bal Vatika.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Pradeep Kumar, Secretary of NIPUN, extended heartfelt gratitude to parents for their trust and active participation. He reiterated NIPUN’s commitment to mainstreaming children into nearby MCD and Government schools in line with the New Education Policy (NEP), ensuring equitable access to quality education for every child. He also lauded the children’s progress in academics, confidence, and social skills, calling it a testament to the collaborative efforts of parents and educators.
The celebration was more than a commemoration of India’s hard-won freedom; it was also a reaffirmation of NIPUN’s mission — empowering communities through education and nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.
