World's First Indo-Vietnam Cultural Heritage Film Announced by India Book of Records hummernews.in

In a landmark announcement at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi, the India Book of Records (IBR) revealed the production of the world’s first international feature film focused on Indo-Vietnam cultural heritage. Titled Vườn Tình Yêu – Prem Ki Surdhara, the film aims to highlight the deep-rooted cultural bonds between India and Vietnam.

The announcement was made by *Mrs. Neerja Roy Chowdhury, Managing Editor of IBR  , during a grand press conference attended by dignitaries and artists from both countries. The event was graced by:

Prof. Chu Bảo Quế, Chairman of the Policy and Development Consultative Council  of the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations (VFUA)

Mr. Trương Quang Hải, Director, Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam

Dr. Nguyen Hoang Anh (Julia Nguyen), Vice-Chairwoman of the Vietnam Records Organization* and General Secretary of the World Records Union (WorldKings)

Renowned Indian film personalities such as Sanchita Kulkarni, Kishori Shahane, Vimal Mishra, Biswadeep Roy Chowdhury, and Gopi Krishnan Varma (of Taare Zameen Par fame) were also present, underscoring the project’s international appeal and cultural depth.

Inspired by the book The Guardian of Heritage, the film will explore Indo-Vietnam relations tracing back to the 7th-century Cham civilization. Through a powerful fusion of art, music, and storytelling, the film will portray the shared spiritual and cultural values of the two nations.

The production will be shot across culturally significant sites in both India and Vietnam, with pre-production having already commenced in Hanoi on June 19, 2025.

Scheduled for release on February 14, 2026, in Hindi and Vietnamese, the film will later premiere globally on major OTT platforms. It will also feature contributions from record holders recognized by IBR for excellence in cultural preservation and music.

This historic cinematic collaboration not only reflects artistic unity but also strengthens the cultural bridge between India and Vietnam on a global stage.
