Pothala Prasad Naidu met AICCI President regarding OBC interests
New Delhi: Jyotiba Rao Phule All India OBC Association National President Pothala Prasad Naidu met AICCI President in a separate plane. On this occasion, while discussing various issues, he also talked about inclusion of 26 BC castes of Telangana in the OBC list, which will benefit 14 lakh people. It is worth noting that the Telangana government has decided to hold a meeting with the AICCI President. The meeting will discuss the inclusion of 26 BC castes in the OBC list.
The Telangana government has been struggling to include 26 BC castes in the OBC list for the last 14 years. There are 14 lakh people of these castes in the state. The AICCI President has assured that this issue will be resolved soon. The President has also assured that 26 BC castes will be included in the OBC list.
The Telangana Government has welcomed the decision and thanked the AICCI President for his support.
