COVID-19 Returns: Cases Rise Again in Noida, Delhi, Mumbai; Hospitals Advised to Keep Beds and Oxygen Ready

The number of COVID-19 infections in India is once again on the rise. For the first time in the past three years, Delhi has reported 23 cases in the month of May. Besides Delhi, major cities such as Mumbai and Noida are also witnessing a gradual increase in cases.
COVID-19 appears to be making a slow comeback in urban areas. As a result, hospitals in Delhi, Karnataka, and other states have been instructed to remain prepared with adequate oxygen supplies and available beds for potential patients.
However, there is a silver lining. Most of the recently infected individuals are experiencing only mild symptoms. So far, no severe complications or hospitalizations have been reported among the new cases.
