The film is directed by Shobhit Sujay, whose Bollywood debut film Baida was praised by critics and audiences alike, particularly for his comic timing and entertaining style. Baida, a sci-fi supernatural thriller produced by Panorama Studios, released in theatres earlier this March and is now set for an OTT release. In 3 Missed Calls, Shobhit not only directs but also plays the lead role alongside Digvijay Singh, who has penned the story.

The short film is produced by Immortal Filme and IBL Productions, with Abhishek Janardhan Vasudev handling cinematography, editing, and sound, and the creative direction is led by Sophia Danish Khan.
