The curtain-raiser (National Media Meet) for the 17th Poultry India Expo-2025 — South Asia’s largest poultry event — was organized on Monday at Hotel The Park, New Delhi. The event was graced by Mr. Uday Singh Bayas, President of the Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA), along with Founder President Mr. Anil Dhumal and Treasurer Mr. M. Srikanth, among other senior officials of the organization.

Media representatives from across the country attended the program. Distinguished guests included Dr. Tarun Shridhar (Former Secretary, Ministry of Animal Husbandry, Government of India), Dr. P.K. Shukla (President, IPSA), Mr. Ramesh Khatri (President, PFI), Mr. Divya Kumar Gulati (President, CLFMA), and Mr. Naveen Pasuparthy (President, KPFBA), along with several other industry experts.17th Poultry India Expo-2025: Giving New Wings to Global Innovation hummernews.in

During the event, the outline of the upcoming 17th Poultry India Expo-2025 — scheduled to be held from November 25 to 28 at HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad — was presented. The “Knowledge Day,” to be held on November 25, was also announced, where national and international experts will discuss new challenges and opportunities in the poultry industry.

On this occasion, the guests stated that the poultry industry plays a vital role in ensuring the nation’s food security, generating employment, and providing affordable protein. Today, India ranks second globally in egg production and among the top four countries in broiler meat production, with the industry growing rapidly at a rate of 8–10% annually.17th Poultry India Expo-2025: Giving New Wings to Global Innovation hummernews.in

IPEMA President Mr. Uday Singh Bayas said,

“This event not only connects farmers and the industry but also marks a major step toward establishing India as a global poultry power. Your presence is our success—let us together build a strong future for poultry.”

The 16th Poultry India Expo-2024 witnessed participation from over 50 countries, with 400 exhibitors and more than 40,000 visitors. This year’s edition is set to be even grander, featuring over 500 exhibitors, 50,000+ visitors, and exhibitions across seven modern halls.

With the theme “One Nation, One Expo,” the event aims to bring together farmers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and youth on one common platform—aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047.”
